About the Role

As a Physical Therapist at AdventHealth, you'll be responsible for evaluating patients with bodily impairments and functional limitations, developing and implementing effective treatment plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills
  • Design and implement treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and patient needs
  • Document and charge accurately, completely, and timely
  • Provide discharge planning assistance and information regarding adaptive equipment and follow-up services
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Licensure in applicable state as a Physical Therapist or Temporary State permit as Physical Therapist
