Aramark is seeking a skilled Chef Manager to join our team in Alamosa, CO. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Train and manage kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
- Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food to meet customer demands
- Select and develop recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation
- Establish and maintain high standards of safety and sanitation in the kitchen
- Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction and demonstrations
- 2-3 years of experience in a related position
- 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
- Culinary Degree preferred
- Advanced knowledge of food principles and practices
- Experiential knowledge of management and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
