Position Details- Specialty: Med Surg
- Discipline: RN

- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Employment Type: Travel
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a Med Surg setting. This includes:
- Delivering patient-centered care and maintaining a safe environment.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitoring patient conditions and administering medications as prescribed.
- Participating in patient education and support.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Valid nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience.
- Proficiency in EPIC systems.
- Ability to interpret telemetry readings.
- Willingness to mentor new travelers and students.
- BLS certification.
- EKG certification.
Facility Details:
- Bed Capacity: 42
- Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:5, with occasional 1:6.
- Common Patient Diagnoses: Orthopedic surgeries, urology procedures, and more.
- Floating between Med Surg units may be required.
