The MetroHealth System is a leading public, safety-net academic medical system affiliated with Case Western Reserve University.

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician to join our team at our Cleveland, OH location.

As a Pediatrician with the MetroHealth System, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care and teach residents and students in training at MetroHealth Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess their health and development
  • Examine sick children to determine their condition and ask questions to gather information about symptoms
  • Reach informed diagnoses based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history
  • Prescribe medications and provide detailed instructions for administration
  • Order and interpret lab tests to gain more information about possible infections or abnormalities
  • Administer vaccines according to government guidelines
  • Treat injuries and refer patients to other specialists when necessary
  • Advise parents on healthy diet, exercise, and disease prevention measures
  • Keep accurate records of patients' illnesses, surgeries, and other medical episodes

Requirements:

  • A medical degree (MD or DO) and Ohio Medical License
  • Completed Residency training in Pediatrics (36 months) and Board certification in Pediatrics

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, paid time off, liability insurance, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
