We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinician to join our team at Horizon Behavioral Health. As a Clinician, you will provide Multi-systemic therapy (MST) in home and community settings for youth ages 11-17 who have received referral for the treatment of behavioral or emotional problems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessments and document individual's diagnosis/es
- Identify how service needs match the level of care criteria
- Work collaboratively with the MST team to provide therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, and care in the individual's natural environment
- Be available for periodic on-call 24/7 to provide safety planning and crisis intervention
- Master's Degree from a program that prepares individuals to practice counseling
- No experience required, but experience with adults in an outpatient setting is preferred
- Related credentials: Resident in Professional Counseling, Supervisee in Clinical Social Work, Resident in Licensed Marriage, Family Therapy, Resident in Substance Abuse Treatment, or eligibility to apply for residency
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emergency interventions, family, group, and individual therapies, psychosocial education, risk assessments, sex offender treatment, substance abuse interventions, etc.
- Knowledge of community mental health and public health to provide advocacy and enhance an individual's treatment and access to community resources
- Ability to drive and possess a valid driver's license
