Speech Language Pathologist

As a Speech Language Pathologist with the Good Samaritan Society, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with speech and language disorders. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping our clients achieve their communication goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities- Administer speech and language evaluations, tests, or examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients with various speech problems and swallowing disorders.
- Assess clients with various speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing problems and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses.
- Provide speech and language services to clients, monitoring disease progression and adjusting treatments accordingly.
- Instruct clients in practicing speech and language therapeutic exercises and provide consultation for clients working through speech and language treatment processes.
- Ensure all speech and language-related standards, policies, protocols, and quality requirements are met.
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist.
- When working at a Sanford Health Facility (not required but preferred by GSS Facilities): Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
