Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team at MCR Hotels. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth and maximize occupancy levels at our hotels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth Strategy
    • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue growth strategies to achieve optimal occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR) growth.
    • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Sales and Marketing
    • Oversee the sales and marketing efforts of the hotel sales department, including direct sales, follow-up, sales administration, and staff management.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, third-party meeting planners, referral sites, and other key sources as lead generators.
  • Operations and Event Management
    • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence.
    • Oversee the event management of group bookings and ensure seamless on-property experience for all contracted customers.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and manage the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure optimal performance.
    • Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with other associates by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working climate.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree or certification in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and revenue management in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and maximizing occupancy levels.
    • Strong sales and marketing skills, with the ability to influence others and negotiate.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Proficient in Windows operating systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
