Job Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing the debone production process on the 2nd shift, ensuring that all procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of productivity while maintaining cost efficiency and meeting customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and develop employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance in their respective positions.
- Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize departmental policies and procedures, ensuring safety, quality, and employee satisfaction.
- Manage employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
- Promote department and company goodwill through proactive communication and employee involvement.
- Investigate areas for quality improvement, cost reduction, and method improvement, and provide suggestions for implementation.
- Promote a safe working environment throughout the production area.
Requirements
- 1 or more years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
- Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
- Previous leadership experience with a team of 20 or more employees.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
- Ability to work assigned hours, including occasional weekends, as required.
Education
High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in a related field is preferred.
