Position Overview

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. is seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives. This role is pivotal in aligning human resource strategies with our organizational goals and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership in the development and execution of human resource programs that support the mission of HATCI and Hyundai Kia Motor Group.
  • Foster strategic relationships across departments to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels, with a focus on cultural cooperation.
  • Interpret and communicate HR policies, programs, and procedures to ensure understanding and compliance among employees and management.
  • Implement and recommend updates to HR policies to maintain consistency in employee relations and compliance with legal standards.
  • Oversee the employee performance evaluation process, including goal setting, coaching, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Advise management on effective associate relations policies and practices.
  • Ensure adherence to policies regarding wages, hours, and working conditions through daily oversight.
  • Guide HR team members in various functions, including benefits administration, training, and HR information systems.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive human resources programs, including executive presentations and collaboration with Global HR initiatives.
  • Manage daily employee relations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources.
  • Provide support to employees and management across various locations.
  • Travel may be required, both domestically and internationally, up to 20% of the time.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, preferably in an OEM or Tier 1 environment. Experience in managing HR teams and knowledge of employment law is highly desirable. Bilingual candidates in English and Korean are preferred.
