UNC Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Carrboro, North Carolina.

• Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures as part of a team dedicated to effective diagnosis and treatment of inpatient and outpatient populations with cardiovascular disease.
• Generate high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular related structures.
• May provide staff training and education on ultrasound procedures and techniques.
• Monitor and record patient information, maintain report storage and data systems, and compile data for charge entry and reports.
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use and ensure timely and efficient room preparation between procedures.

• Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field within 3 months of hire.
• Completion of a 12-month ultrasound program within 3 months of hire.
• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligible and become registered within one year from date of hire.
