Secure Detention RN Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional healthcare services to youth in our secure detention facility. As a Secure Detention RN, you will be responsible for conducting initial health assessments, providing treatment for emergency and acute health conditions, and ensuring continuity of care for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough health assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and laboratory tests.
  • Provide treatment for emergency and acute health conditions, including medication administration and wound care.
  • Collaborate with other practitioners to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each resident.

Requirements:

  • Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse's license.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with adolescents.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.

Pay and Schedule:

  • $75,000 - $80,500 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Evening shifts (4PM-12AM) with Sunday and Monday off.
  • Overnight shifts (12AM-8AM) with Sunday and Monday off.
