Tact Staff is currently seeking a traveling Respiratory Care Specialist for an assignment in a healthcare facility. This role is essential in providing respiratory therapy services to patients across various age groups.
Job Details:

Note: This is a short-term assignment.
Candidate Requirements:
Applicants must possess their own transportation as public transport options are limited in the area. The Respiratory Care Specialist will be a vital part of the multidisciplinary team, responsible for administering therapies that may include the application and monitoring of medical gases, mechanical ventilator support, and artificial airway management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct EEGs, EKGs, and ABGs (no PFTs required)
- Provide critical care and ventilator management
- Ensure effective cardiopulmonary rehabilitation related to respiratory care
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric respiratory therapy
- Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Current state license required
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Proficient in intubation and critical care management
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP
- PALS (AHA)
