Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team at Walther Farms. As a CDL Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer unit and semi-trailer to transport goods within a designated area.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a semi tractor-trailer truck to/from specified destinations within the area of intended employment.
  • Maneuver trucks into and out of loading and unloading positions.
  • Perform duties in both on-road (paved) and off-road conditions.
  • Operate a pull tractor to aid in the extraction of tractors and/or trailers that have become stuck.
  • Assist farm personnel at the loading area and shipping line as required.

Requirements: A minimum of 12 months of verifiable prior experience driving/servicing the combination of a tractor unit and semi-trailer is required. A valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record are also necessary. Saturday and Sunday work is required, and the ability to lift/carry 60 lbs is essential.

Work Environment: The work environment will be primarily outdoors, with exposure to various weather conditions. The ability to work in rough and adverse off-road conditions is essential.

Benefits: Employer-paid pre-employment and post-hire random, upon suspicion and post-accident drug testing are provided. A clean driving record is required, and the ability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift hours, including weekends, is necessary.
