About the Role

This is a great opportunity to grow your LPN skillset while working in a dynamic and compassionate environment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
  • Providing patient and family education according to plan as outlined by the RN
  • Monitoring patient's vital signs and making specific measurements and observations
  • Monitoring and recording intake and output, and reporting significant changes immediately
  • Administering medications as instructed and ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN
  • Attending and participating in staff meetings and in-service education programs, as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active LPN license in good standing
  • CPR Certification
  • Previous home health, private duty, skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and family members
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Reliable transportation or valid driver's license with current automobile insurance
