Job Overview

VuePoint Diagnostics, LLC is a dynamic mobile imaging service seeking a Radiologic Technologist to enhance our operations.

In this role, you will perform x-ray examinations in diverse community healthcare environments, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences. As a mobile technician, you will utilize a company-provided vehicle and advanced portable digital x-ray technology (DR).

This position presents a distinctive chance to operate independently outside traditional hospital settings. You will play a vital role in the expanding initiative to deliver diagnostic imaging services directly to patients, ensuring they receive care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for x-ray procedures by accurately positioning them, adjusting equipment settings, and determining exposure parameters.
  • Maintain high-quality radiographs by adhering to established protocols and making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure the safety of patients and staff through effective radiation protection techniques.
  • Oversee the inventory of radiology supplies and communicate requirements to management.
  • Follow COVID-19 safety measures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Accurately document patient care information in the Radiology Information System (RIS).

Qualifications:

  • ARRT (R) certification required or eligibility for registry (completion within 90 days)
  • CPR certification is preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving history
  • Strong customer service skills

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, Outlook, and 10S.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and communicate effectively.
  • Capability to sit and drive for extended durations.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
