Peer Navigator

We are looking for a compassionate and results-driven individual to join our team as a Peer Navigator for the Orange County Braveheart movement. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of programs that empower young adults to take control of their lives.

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with youth participants, community partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality services that address the complex needs of our clients. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with youth participants, community partners, and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with the FT Peer Navigator to design and implement program activities
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote Braveheart practices
• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to inform future service delivery

Requirements:

• A GED or high school diploma and personal experience with the child welfare and/or mental health system
• A valid NYS Driver's license and reliable access to an insured vehicle
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (social work, psychology, education)
• 2+ years of experience working with youth and families in a social services setting

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
