Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. Collaborates with residents, family, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge. Provides preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment to residents. Coordinates care, conducts resident assessments, and educates residents and family members on various nursing interventions.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents
• Collaborate with residents, family, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge
• Provide preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment to residents
• Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and educate residents and family members on various nursing interventions
Requirements:
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
