Pool Server

About the Position
McConnell Golf is seeking a Part Time Pool Grille Server to provide exceptional food and beverage service to club members and guests at The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation. This role involves setting up pool grille food and beverage stations, performing assigned side work, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Information
The estimated hourly salary for this position is between $12.00 and $13.50 per hour, reflecting the competitive pay range for similar roles in the industry. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and a daily complimentary staff meal.

Responsibilities
This role requires the ability to work well in a team environment, efficiently serve food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, and suggest daily specials. The server will also be responsible for using Point of Sale Systems, placing orders with the kitchen, and handling member charges and credit card transactions as prescribed by standard operating procedures. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean pool grill kitchen and bar area, clearing tables, and advising supervisors of any complaints or issues.

Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with two years of comparable wait service experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, basic math skills, and the ability to read and write effectively. Additionally, a food safety certification and the ability to work well under pressure are essential requirements for this role.
