Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Intermediate Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
  • Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel on the team.
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy.
  • Provide educational materials to patients and families on care and treatments.
  • Review and verify physician orders, ensuring accurate and timely implementation.
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med/Surg unit.
  • 1 year of nursing experience in a Stepdown Unit - preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required as per St. David's Healthcare policy.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required as per St. David's Healthcare policy.

Patients may also receive care related to rehabilitation services, women's services, cancer care, neurology, joint replacement and orthotics, and more when visiting this facility.
