Material Handler

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at a leading plastic injection molding company in Lapeer. This is a temp-to-hire position with a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Assembly department by performing material-related tasks.
• Remove old labels from packaging and ensure packaging is provided to operators as required.
• Label and store scrap parts, and return unused components and packaging to storage areas.
• Ensure color changes are completed in a timely manner and remove finished parts of old color from the area.
• Move finished parts to warehouse staging and sort/rework parts when required.
• Follow all housekeeping requirements, TS-16949, and ISO-14001 policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Prior forklift experience and ability to obtain valid certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions correctly.
