Position Overview

The Lead Risk Management Analyst will support the Risk & Control Manager in overseeing compliance and risk management processes across all entities of The Forge Companies, which include multiple financial service firms. This role involves close collaboration with leadership to design, implement, and manage a risk-based RCSA program throughout the organization. The responsibilities will encompass conducting organization-wide risk assessments, reviewing policy and procedure manuals for each entity, and evaluating internal controls for critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a risk-based RCSA program, including planning, conducting, and documenting testing activities for RCSA assignments.
  • Engage with key personnel and management within various business functions to identify risks and opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Identify significant risk issues and conduct research to propose viable solutions and alternatives.
  • Collaborate with management to formulate, implement, and monitor process and policy modifications across the organization.
  • Establish and nurture key relationships with stakeholders, fostering a culture of engagement and value addition.
  • Participate in and assist with risk assessments throughout The Forge Companies.
  • Support the Risk & Control Manager in maintaining the compliance calendar.
  • Conduct due diligence on third-party vendors as part of the vendor management program.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in audit, risk management, or compliance roles.
  • Proven experience with RCSA and issue remediation/tracking.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to foster a business environment that values integrity, respect, excellence, and innovation.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for business and process improvements.
  • Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with Orion Compliance management software is advantageous.

Physical and Travel Requirements

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.

Travel Expectations

  • Minimal travel required, less than 5% of the time.
  • Hybrid work schedule available.
