Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN to join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor. As a key member of our Health Science department, you will be responsible for providing instruction and training to students in accordance with established guidelines and curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare students for certification as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) by providing training on CPR, first aid, human anatomy, and patient caregiving skills.
  • Establish a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring courses are taught in accordance with established syllabi and identifying at-risk students for support.
  • Collaborate with the Dean of Health Science to develop clinical experiences and evaluate student progress.
  • Utilize instructional resources to facilitate student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Review and update curriculum to ensure alignment with program objectives and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years RN nursing experience, with at least 1 year in long-term care nursing services within the last 5 years
  • Recent physical and 2-step PPD SLED check, and CPR certification
