Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, group therapy, and psycho-education classes. You will also conduct evaluations to aid in the differential diagnosis of complex cases and provide consults with medical center staff on a wide variety of patient care issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health prevention, assessment, treatment, management, and professional consultation services.
- Develop person-centered and recovery-oriented treatment plans to address mental health needs of patients.
- Provide emergency/crisis interventions to stabilize patient(s).
- Provide patient care via tele-mental health in accordance with national/ local performance measures.
- Doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS), or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).
- Successful completion of a professional psychology internship training program that was accredited by APA or CPA at the time the program was completed.
- Full, current, and unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
- Experience working in a behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mental health conditions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
