**Job Overview**

Formlabs is seeking a highly motivated Materials Intern to join our team in Somerville, MA. As a member of our Materials team, you will have the opportunity to develop, formulate, and test new materials for 3D printing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material science or chemistry and experience working in a wet lab environment. A basic understanding of CAD programs and computer programming (Python) is also desired.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and test new materials for 3D printing
  • Work closely with the Materials team to optimize material formulations
  • Contribute to the development of new products and technologies

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or related field
  • Experience working in a wet lab environment
  • Basic understanding of CAD programs and computer programming (Python)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
