Radiologic Technician I

As a Radiologic Technician I at Sollis Health, your primary responsibility will be to operate our advanced X-ray machinery while ensuring that patients with radiological needs receive an exceptional level of service. You will also assist at the front desk, greeting our members and facilitating a seamless intake and checkout experience. Additionally, you will receive training and certification to conduct laboratory tests in a moderately complex environment and provide support to our medical teams as necessary.

Work Schedule

This position is per diem, with shifts available Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday/Sunday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

Your specific duties will encompass:

  • Reviewing and confirming physician requests for radiographic procedures while ensuring accurate patient identification prior to scans.
  • Executing X-ray procedures on various body parts using the appropriate equipment and adhering to established protocols.
  • Generating X-ray images and delivering them to the requesting physician.
  • Ensuring that all images are clearly labeled with the correct date and patient identification.
  • Monitoring patient comfort and well-being, addressing any discomfort or medical issues as they arise.
  • Conducting laboratory tests on our moderately complex machines and assisting with routine quality control and other laboratory requirements.
  • Utilizing our electronic medical records (EMR) system for scheduling, patient intake, registration updates, document scanning, and entering detailed patient information while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Updating patient information in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized office environment that meets Sollis brand standards, including managing mail distribution.
  • Checking inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies in examination rooms, and collaborating with the inventory coordinator to order additional supplies as needed.
  • Welcoming members and patients, ensuring they receive exemplary customer service.
  • Coordinating follow-up appointments for medical evaluations, vaccinations, or house calls.
  • Responding to the medical hotline as required and directing patients to the appropriate team members for their medical care or billing inquiries.
  • Preparing house call bags and scheduling appointments as requested.
  • Performing other job-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

We value diverse backgrounds and experiences, but ideally, candidates should possess:
  • A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist from the California State Department of Health.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • A minimum of one year of experience in utilizing X-ray technology.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience in urgent care settings is a significant advantage.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range for this position is between $45 and $51 per hour. This range reflects what Sollis Health reasonably expects to offer candidates in Southern California, though actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and industry background.
