Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ellwood National Steel. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy industrial equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex industrial equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  • Perform welding and fabricating tasks to repair or replace equipment components.
  • Use hoists, cranes, and hand tools to dismantle and repair equipment.
  • Determine dimensional requirements of parts using precision measuring instruments.
  • Communicate with the maintenance team to ensure effective inventory management and supply chain logistics.
Requirements
  • 2-year technical certification or training in mechanical maintenance.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in a multi-craft maintenance role.
  • Achieve a minimum score on the Multi-Craft Maintenance Skill Assessment Exam.
