Esthetician

The Esthetician is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in the spa by providing top-notch services and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism throughout all procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform services to the best of their ability and maintain spa standards
• Ensure appointments are conducted at reserved times with no delays
• Maintain the cleanliness of treatment rooms and prep areas in a professional manner
• Follow established protocols and checklists to enhance operations and guest experiences
• Provide exceptional knowledge of spa facial treatments and products to guests
• Offer excellent esthetic services to all spa guests
• Follow established treatment protocols for proper execution and consistency
• Assist guests with retail product selections and educate them on correct use
• Promptly notify spa desk personnel of service upgrades and changes
• Greet all guests and display knowledge of services available
• Display meticulous professional appearance and conduct at all times
• Make all guests feel welcome and take ownership of simple requests
• Meet or exceed required retail goals
• Grow guest requests on a quarterly basis
• Report any service issues immediately
• Assist in other areas of the spa as needed, including reception, spa attendant duties, and retail areas
• Maintain equipment and supplies on a daily basis
• Maintain all work-related areas in accordance with room standards
• Conduct esthetic services to new employees

Qualifications:

• Current, valid state/county esthetic license recognized by the local governing board
• Successfully completed esthetic training at a recognized esthetic school
• At least one year of experience in an upscale spa operation
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy environment
• High school level reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Physically able to stand, bend, lean, and walk for up to 10 hours
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
