Project Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and report project progress, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with NTT DATA's project management methodology and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on healthcare systems or Medicaid systems.
  • 6+ years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects, with a proven track record of success.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in vendor management, with a focus on contract administration and vendor relationship management.
  • PMP or equivalent certification, with a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) 3.0, including the maturity matrix and the Seven Conditions and Standards.
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid Transformation Initiative.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience with contract administration and vendor management, with a focus on ensuring compliance with industry standards.
