FLSA Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

The Merchandise Sales Associate for Events is tasked with overseeing merchandise transactions during various events, ensuring a positive experience for attendees while collaborating with venue personnel and other stakeholders.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conducts inventory assessments of merchandise available for sale
  • Delivers exceptional service to all patrons, sponsors, event staff, and fellow team members
  • Executes inventory procedures for both incoming and outgoing merchandise
  • Designs attractive merchandising displays and ensures accurate pricing of items
  • Processes guest merchandise requests promptly and accurately
  • Utilizes a computerized Point of Sale System (POS) for transactions
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates must effectively perform each key responsibility. The following qualifications are essential:

  • Basic mathematical skills for handling sales transactions
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capacity to respond swiftly to customer inquiries

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
