Role Summary

The Account Manager for Senior Living Solutions plays a pivotal role in driving sales of high-quality furniture products tailored for senior living environments. This position demands a deep understanding of the senior living sector, along with a consultative sales methodology to foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in various facilities, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage potential clients to promote MityLite and associated brands.
  • Establish and nurture strong connections with decision-makers such as administrators and purchasing managers.
  • Assess the unique needs of each facility and customize sales presentations accordingly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales objectives.
  • Offer insights to management regarding customer preferences and market dynamics.
  • Follow up on quotes, leads from events, and previous customers to drive sales.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to represent MityLite accurately.
  • Develop expertise in MityLite products relevant to the senior living market.
  • Utilize CRM systems to maintain organized and accurate records.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • Implement best practices to enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in account management or customer-facing roles; sales experience in manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or Marketing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the senior living or healthcare industry is a plus.
