Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join our team at our Columbus, Ohio facility. As a Boiler Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial utilities systems and equipment, including boilers, air compressors, and refrigerant chillers.

You will work on a 3rd shift schedule, Wednesday to Sunday, with Mondays and Tuesdays off. You will be responsible for equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain industrial utilities systems and equipment, including boilers, air compressors, and refrigerant chillers
  • Perform daily rounds to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and reliably
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation of equipment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of work experience in industrial utilities systems or industrial electrical/mechanical systems
  • Must be able to obtain a State of Ohio 3rd class stationary engineers license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed boiler operator, State of Ohio 3rd class stationary engineers
  • Maintenance Mechanic
  • Pipe fitting/welding
  • Certified Backflow Tester
  • Boiler Operator
