Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor to join our team at Upstate University Hospital. The successful candidate will have a strong background in research and a proven track record of securing federally funded grants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in the specialty area of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
- Develop and implement research projects, including study design, data collection, and analysis
- Secure and manage federally funded research grants
- Collaborate with colleagues to advance the field of Endocrinology
- Teach and mentor students and junior faculty members
Requirements:
- MD and/or PhD degree
- At least five years of research experience, preferably in the specialty area of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
- Proven ability and record of securing federally funded research grants
- Evidence of peer-reviewed publications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in clinical research, particularly in the Endocrine division
- Strong track record of securing research funding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
