Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Director will provide leadership and management to ensure the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services to patients. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to increase therapy revenue and caseloads, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs to increase therapy revenue and caseloads
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including CARF, SNF, and JCAHO
  • Recruit and retain rehabilitation service personnel
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and development opportunities
  • Investigate and resolve staff, service, and patient-related issues
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness of the therapy program
  • Provide leadership and management to clinical therapy staff
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting according to Medicare guidelines and company policy
  • Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech and Language Pathology
  • Current license in the state(s) assigned
  • Minimum of 3 years of rehabilitation experience
  • MDS certification (RAC-CT) or other advanced certification preferred
  • Proven leadership and program development/supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and therapy practice act legislation/law and accreditation standards
