About the Job

This position involves reworking SMT components, performing modifications per Engineering Change Orders, and ensuring IPC-A-610 quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have prior experience removing and replacing components, including fine-pitch soldering, and be familiar with SMT fine pitch components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rework SMT components and perform modifications as required
  • Inspect assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Identify common component and soldering defects, including improper use of flux
  • Utilize Bill of Material (BOM), Engineering Change Orders, and process work orders to ensure accuracy
  • Remove and replace PTH and SMT components
  • Work on multiple assignments and recognize deviations from accepted practices
Requirements:
  • Prior Circuit Card Assembly soldering experience or similar experience required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with SMT fine pitch components and IPC-A-610 quality standards
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
