- Knowledge: Knowledge of hospital scope of practice according to State regulations, sterile techniques, and special procedures applicable to work performed.
- Skills: Organizational skills, effective oral and written communication, active listening, basic computer knowledge, and exemplary telephone etiquette.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with patients, families, visitors, healthcare team, physicians, administrators, and leadership.
- Maintain a positive and open attitude to change, effective relationships with clinical staff and managers, and self-directed motivation.
- Conduct needs assessments using strategic tools, prioritize, multi-task, and organize efficiently and effectively.
- Certifications: Current certification in BLS or completion within one year of hire.
- Education: Proof of successful training equivalent to a nursing assistant, patient care technician, emergency medical technician, medical assistant, or a current nursing student with training beyond the first term of nursing education.
