Nutritional Services Assistant

The Nutritional Services Assistant plays a vital role in meal preparation, presentation of dishes, and providing dining services to residents and visitors within the community's dining areas, adhering to the standards set by Phoenix Senior Living. This position involves ensuring all food is handled according to health and safety regulations and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local food service guidelines.

  • Adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety
  • Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards consistently
  • Prepare meals accommodating special dietary requirements as instructed
  • Follow established menus and utilize approved Phoenix standardized recipes to prepare food items promptly

Qualifications:

Nutritional Services Assistant

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Prior experience in food service or hospitality within a senior living environment is preferred

Skills and Competencies:

Nutritional Services Assistant

  • Knowledge of infection control protocols
  • Ability to multitask and manage stress effectively
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Understanding and commitment to the philosophy of assisted living
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet customer needs during peak service times
