We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the California Correctional Health Care Services. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to inmates in a correctional facility setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct preadmission screenings and psychological evaluations of inmates
- Provide individual therapy and treatment planning
- Participate in interdisciplinary team evaluations and consultations
- Consult with psychiatrists, nurses, and other staff members
- Supervise and train students, interns, and other staff members
- Participate in program evaluation and research
- Valid license as a Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology
- Earned Doctorate Degree in Psychology from an educational institution meeting the criteria of Section 2914 of the Medical Board of California's Business and Professions Code
- Ability to work in a correctional facility setting
