Responsibilities
  • Develop and automate reports to meet the Business Intelligence (BI) and analytical needs of our stakeholders. Work with stakeholders to establish the right metrics for monitoring the business.
  • Interpret business data and analyze results to provide ongoing reports and insights.
  • Provide analytical and data-driven decision-making support for key projects and initiatives.
  • Gather functional requirements and work with engineering to deliver data-driven solutions to stakeholders.
  • Communicate findings on a regular basis to all levels of business and management.
  • Help train internal and external stakeholders in utilizing reporting tools and analyzing results.
  • Set standards for data management and conceive projects needed to eliminate the gap between current state and future goals.
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or relevant technical field. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • 3 years of experience developing MicroStrategy reports, dashboards/dossiers, and with the MicroStrategy architecture.
  • 3 years of experience with using SQL for data analysis. Familiarity with other programming languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success when working cross-functionally and can translate technical content to a general audience.
  • Understanding of Data Management and the data lifecycle.
  • Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and tools and flexibility to accept a wide range of responsibilities in our innovative and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter that can operate under minimal supervision. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
