About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our Employee Benefits Consulting Practice. As a key member of our team, you will provide actuarial and analytical support to our clients, helping them navigate complex benefits and compensation issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile claims data, prepare budget projections, and calculate claims reserves to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement actuarial models to analyze and project health plan costs, setting rates and reserves to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to develop and implement strategic projects, including postretirement health valuations and vendor renewal analyses.
  • Communicate complex actuarial concepts to clients and stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
Requirements
  • BA or BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience in health actuarial, with at least one Society of Actuaries exam success.
  • Actively pursuing SOA exams towards actuarial certification.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a collaborative team environment.
