Magnet Medical is a leading healthcare provider seeking an experienced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join their team in Laredo, Texas.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining MRI equipment, ensuring high-quality patient care, and working collaboratively with the medical team.
Salary InformationWe offer a competitive salary package, based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Our estimate for this position is $105-$130 per hour, resulting in a weekly salary of approximately $4,020-$5,200 and a monthly salary of around $17,280-$21,680.
Job Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain equipment, ensuring proper function and safety standards.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and minimizing anxiety.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality control initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to best practices.
- Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist.
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
