About the Role
Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance technicians to complete tasks and projects
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
