Job Description: As a Registered Nurse with our company, you will play a critical role in supporting Central Georgia Cancer Care in Macon. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Mixing and administering chemotherapeutic agents to patients as ordered by physicians
  • Safely disposing of biohazardous waste according to OSHA and HRS guidelines
  • Conducting ongoing patient assessments and documenting treatment rendered in OncoEMR
  • Following guidelines for the appropriate administration of medications and ensuring accurate charges are captured

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong clinical background in IV therapy and experience working with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
