Job Overview

As a skilled Diesel Mechanic Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our heavy equipment fleet. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the reliability and safety of our operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Promote a safe working environment by prioritizing safety protocols and adhering to MSHA standards.
  2. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, including inspection, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical issues.
  3. Inspect and test equipment to identify potential problems and take corrective action to prevent downtime.
  4. Operate heavy equipment and vehicles as needed to ensure efficient production.
  5. Maintain accurate records of service reports and other relevant documentation.
Requirements

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Previous experience working on diesel or heavy construction equipment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of general principles and practices of servicing heavy construction equipment (preferred).
  • Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands.
  • Able to work outside in various weather conditions and tolerate loud noises.
Compensation and Benefits
