Job Summary:

The Westbrook Public Schools is seeking a qualified Cafeteria Worker Substitute to join our team. As a Cafeteria Worker Substitute, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nutritious meals to students and staff. You will also assist with procuring food and related supplies, maintaining inventory, and operating kitchen and office equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals for students and staff
  • Assist with food procurement and inventory management
  • Operate kitchen and office equipment
  • Follow established guidelines and procedures for food service and safety

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in institutional food service
  • Ability to read, add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and stand for long periods
