Job Summary: As an Acute Care RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires delivering care to a primarily adult population, demonstrating clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.
Salary and Benefits: We offer up to $15,000 Sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment and a competitive salary, ranging from $80,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes paid time off, growth opportunities, career tuition assistance, CEU opportunities, and much more.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must have a current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire. You must also meet our education requirements, including professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
Working Environment: Our 32-bed unit requires both teamwork and hard work to manage pain, wound care/dressing changes, family dynamics associated with trauma, and the overall healing process until the patient can go safely to a rehab facility or home. As a member of our dynamic trauma team, you will work alongside experienced professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
