As a CNA or PCA with Right at Home Peachtree City, you will perform personal care activities that assist patients with activities of daily living, including:
- Personal Hygiene: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Ambulation/Transfers: Help patients with walking, transferring, and mobility.
- Dressing/Shaving: Assist patients with dressing and shaving.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
- Accompaniment: Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and clean environment.
You will also perform patient-specific activities taught by our Right at Home nurse, including:
- Hospice Supportive Care: Provide supportive care to patients with terminal illnesses.
- Medication Reminders: Assist patients with medication reminders and adherence.
- Range of Motion Exercises: Assist patients with prescribed range of motion exercises.
- Assistance with Blood Glucose Monitoring: Assist patients with blood glucose monitoring.
- Care of Bed-Bound Patients: Provide care to patients who are bed-bound.
- Incontinence Care: Assist patients with incontinence care.
- Use of Lifting Equipment: Use lifting equipment, such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts, to assist patients with mobility.
We prefer candidates with experience in:
- Hoyer Lift: Experience with Hoyer lifts and other lifting equipment.
- Personal Care: Experience in providing personal care to patients.
- Range of Motion Exercises: Experience in assisting patients with range of motion exercises.
- Foley Care: Experience in providing Foley care.
- Companionship: Experience in providing companionship to patients.
- Light Cleaning: Experience in performing light cleaning tasks.
