Production Assembler Job Description

A Production Assembler is needed at Milgard Windows and Doors in Simi Valley, CA. The ideal candidate will be able to perform tasks as assigned in the construction of windows and patio doors in all phases of assembly. Key elements of performance include meeting departmental manufacturing goals, safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support Product Build and Assembly Processes: Use standard work instructions to ensure accuracy and efficiency in product build and assembly.
  • Focus on Quality and Timely Delivery: Deliver completed tasks on time to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate Core Values: Demonstrate Milgard's Core Values in all business interactions.
  • Adhere to Safety Policies: Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Work Experience: One year of similar work experience (Assembly, Manufacturing, and/or Warehouse)
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read a tape measure
  • Tool Experience: Experience with hand and power tools
  • Math Skills: Compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition/subtraction
  • Lifting Ability: Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted
