Job Title: General Manager Charleston WV

VP Management is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our Charleston, WV team. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary:

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of our business in Charleston, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute strategies to drive business growth and profitability in Charleston
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Oversee and manage all operational processes, including budgeting, staffing, and resource management
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure a high-performing team
  • Monitor and analyze business performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
  • Serve as a liaison between the Charleston team and upper management, providing regular updates and reports on business performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and profitability
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to business operations
