Job Summary

Rogers Group, a leading aggregates and asphalt highway construction company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator to join our Construction Team in Lawrenceburg, TN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment for asphalt paving, including Rake/Lute Skid Steer, Backhoe, Broom, Asphalt Roller, Asphalt Screws/Screed, Paver, Asphalt Distributor/Tack Truck, and Water Truck.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment, adhering to company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
  • Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment, referring major problems to the Supervisor.
  • Conduct daily pre-and-post inspections with documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Follow directions from the Supervisor regarding daily tasks and expectations for each project or job.
  • Perform general labor duties as necessary and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of asphalt paving experience.
  • Experience working with road construction in high traffic areas, including MUTCD traffic control.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move heavy objects.
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, heat, and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
