Job Title: Computed Tomography Technician

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technician to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Kodiak, Alaska.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as a Technician and possess critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess PC skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transports patients as needed.
Requirements:
  • One to three years experience as a Technician preferred.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills.
